Example 1: If you have 4 cats and 2 dogs, the ratio is 2 (4 ÷ 2 = 2). This means you have twice as many cats as dogs!
Example 2: If a recipe needs 3 cups of flour and 1 cup of sugar, the ratio is 3. This means you need 3 times more flour than sugar.
Example 3: If a toy car is 6 inches long and a real car is 180 inches long, the ratio is 30. The real car is 30 times longer than the toy!
